CARDIAC ASSIST DEVICES
\nCardiac functions and parameters, principle of External counter pulsation techniques, intra aortic balloon pump, Auxillary ventricle and schematic for temporary bypass of left ventricle, prosthetic heart valves, cardiac pacemaker.\n<\/p>\n

Unit II<\/h4>\n

HEMODIALYSERS
\nPhysiology of kidney, Artificial kidney, Dialysis action, hemodialyser unit, membrane dialysis, portable dialyser monitoring and functional parameters.\n<\/p>\n

PROSTHETIC AND ORTHODIC DEVICES

RECENT TRENDS
\nTranscutaneous electrical nerve stimulator, bio-feedback, assistive devices in drug delivery\n<\/p>\n
