The detailed syllabus of post &#8211; harvest technology laboratory is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<p>After the end of this lab, students will be able to determine various engineering properties of grains, test and evaluate different post harvesting machineries.\n<\/p>\n<p><h4><H4>List of Experiments:<\/H4><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Determination of moisture content of grains by oven method and moisture meter.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of porosity of grains.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of coefficient of friction and angle of repose of grains.<\/li>\n<li>Testing of paddy thresher &amp; paddy winnower.<\/li>\n<li>Testing of groundnut decorticator &amp; maize sheller<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of thin layer drier<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of L.S.U. drier.<\/li>\n<li>Determining the efficiency of bucket elevator and screw conveyor<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of shelling efficiency of rubber roll sheller<\/li>\n<li>Determining the oil content of oil seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Visit to modern rice mill<\/li>\n<li>Visit to pulse milling industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Text Books:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Chakraverty, A.
