The detailed syllabus of electrical drives and actuators laboratory is as follows. <\/p>\n<p>  <title>Electrical Drives and Actuators Laboratory<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>To impart knowledge on Performance of the fundamental control practices associated with AC and DC machines (starting, reversing, braking, plugging, etc.) using power electronics To impart industry oriented learning<\/li>\n<li>To evaluate the use of computer-based analysis tools to review the major classes of machines and their physical basis for operation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>List of Experiments:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Load test on DC Motor<\/li>\n<li>Load test on 3 Phase Induction Motor<\/li>\n<li>Load test on 3 Phase Synchronous Motor.<\/li>\n<li>Rheostat based Speed control of motors (AC and DC)<\/li>\n<li>Switching circuits of MOSFET, IGBT, SCR and TRAIC.<\/li>\n<li>Gate pulsation generation using PWM signals.<\/li>\n<li>Speed control of DC motor using Power Electronic Drive.<\/li>\n<li>Position and direction control DC servomotor using Power Electronic Drive.<\/li>\n<li>Position, direction and speed control of BLDC and PMDC motors using Power Electronic Drive.<\/li>\n<li>Position, Direction and speed control of stepper Motor.<\/li>\n<li>Four quadrant operation of three-phase Induction Motor using Power Electronic Drive.<\/li>\n<li>VFD control of single phase and three-phase induction motor using Power Electronic Drive.<\/li>\n<li>AC servomotor position, direction and speed control using Power Electronic Drive.(Any 10 experiments)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>  At the end of the course, the student able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Practice the basic working of AC, DC motor, stepper motor, servo motor and synchronous motor using power electronic drive<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the control of AC, DC motor, stepper motor, servo motor and synchronous motor using power electronic drive<\/li>\n<li>Analyze the performance of AC, DC motor, stepper motor, servo motor and synchronous motor using power electronic drive<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>List of Equipments:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>DC Motor with load &#8211; 1.
