The detailed syllabus of aerospace structures laboratory is as follows. <\/p>\n<p>  <title>Aerospace Structures Laboratory<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To experimentally study the unsymmetrical bending of beams,<\/li>\n<li>To find the location of shear centre<\/li>\n<li>To obtain the stresses in circular discs and beams using photo elastic techniques<\/li>\n<li>To calibration of photo-elastic materials and study on vibration of beams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>List of Experiments:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Unsymmetrical bending of beams.<\/li>\n<li>Find the shear centre location for open sections.<\/li>\n<li>Find the shear centre location for closed sections.<\/li>\n<li>Experiment the constant strength beam.<\/li>\n<li>Draw the flexibility matrix for cantilever beam.<\/li>\n<li>Beam with combined loading.<\/li>\n<li>Calibration of Photo-elastic materials.<\/li>\n<li>Stresses in circular discs and beams using photo-elastic techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Vibrations of beams.<\/li>\n<li>Experiment with the Wagner beam &#8211; Tension field beam.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>  On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate the effects of bending in the aerospace structures.<\/li>\n<li>Explain the shear centre of the aerospace structures.<\/li>\n<li>Compare the photo-elastic techniques on the aerospace structures.<\/li>\n<li>Justify the experimental findings in clear oral and concise report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>List of Equipments:<\/h4>\n<p>  (For a batch of 30 students)<br \/>\n  S.
