\nIntroduction to process plant design – Properties Evaluation: Spread sheeting, Hierarchy of Process Design and the Onion model – Flow sheeting – Typical units of CAD system – Process synthesis – Physical properties evaluation \u2013Transport properties & thermodynamic properties of gases and binary mixtures.<\/p>\n
\nBasic Model Development For Preliminary Systems: Methods of calculating vapor liquid equilibrium data for ideal and non-ideal mixtures – Bubble point and Dew point – Flash and distillation calculations – Equipment design – Development of software programmes for the following systems – Piping system, single phase & two phase.<\/p>\n
