This gives the details about credits, number of hours and other details along with reference books for the course.<\/p>\n<p>The detailed syllabus for Textile Chemical Processing I B.Tech 2016-2017 (R13) fourthsem is as follows<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To acquaint student of the operational sequence in wet processing of different textile materials<\/li>\n<li>To impart knowledge in the field of pre-processing, processing and post-processing of textile substrate<\/li>\n<li>To impart fundamental knowledge of colour science and assessment of dyed and printed goods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>UNIT I<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 [5 Hours]<br \/>\nOperation sequence in chemical processing of cotton, silk, wool, rayon, polyester, polyamide, polyester and cellulosic blend materials with emphasis on the objectives of each operation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT II<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0[9 Hours]<br \/>\nScouring; bleaching and mercerization of cotton; preparatory process for wool and silk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT III<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0[9 Hours]<br \/>\nStages involved in dyeing process, principle of application of direct, reactive, vat, acid, disperse and natural dyes.
