II<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Sieve analysis<\/li>\n<li>Batch filtration studies using a Leaf filter<\/li>\n<li>Batch filtration studies using a Plate and Frame Filter press<\/li>\n<li>Characteristics of batch Sedimentation<\/li>\n<li>Reduction ratio in Jaw Crusher<\/li>\n<li>Reduction ratio in Ball mill<\/li>\n<li>Separation characteristics of Cyclone separator<\/li>\n<li>Reduction ratio of Roll Crusher<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Course Outcome:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n  On completion of the course students are expected to<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Use variable area flow meters and variable head flow meters<\/li>\n<li>Analyze the flow of fluids through closed conduits, open channels and flow past immersed bodies Select pumps for the transportation of fluids based on process conditions\/requirements and fluid properties.<\/li>\n<li>Determine work index, average particle size through experiments by crushers, ball mill and conducting sieve analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Design size separation equipment such as cyclone separator, sedimentation, Filters etc.<\/li>\n<li>Able to study the flow through fluidized bed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\">For detailed syllabus of all other subjects of Petroleum Engineering &amp;
