\nIntroduction – limitations of polymeric materials – additives for plastics- Properties and technical requirements of additives – classification – types – chemistry and mechanisms Limitations, selection, general effect on properties antioxidants \u2013 lubricants – plasticizers- fillers and reinforcements.<\/p>\n
\nProcessing aids – toughening agents – antistatic agents – anti-blocking agents – slip and antislip agents – Ultra violet absorbers and stabilizers – Fire retardants – Blowing agents \u2013 Coupling agents- Colorants- master batch \u2013 color matching – miscellaneous additives.<\/p>\n
