Fundamentals of microbial growth, batch and continuous culture. Isolation and purification of enzymes from cells. Cell and Enzyme Immobilization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT II \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0 [9 Hours]<br \/>\nFermentation \u2013 Types of mechanisms, Continuous fermentation \u2013 aeration and agitation, kinetics of fermentation \u2013 Processes<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT III\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0[9 Hours]<br \/>\nIntroduction of Bioreactor design: Continuously stirred aerated tank bioreactors. Mixing power correlation.
