Programmes)\n<\/p>\n<h4>Course Objective:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n  The main learning objective of this course is to provide hands on training to the students in:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Drawing pipe line plan; laying and connecting various pipe fittings used in common household plumbing work; Sawing; planing; making joints in wood materials used in common household wood work.<\/li>\n<li>Wiring various electrical joints in common household electrical wire work.<\/li>\n<li>Welding various joints in steel plates using arc welding work; Machining various simple processes like turning, drilling, tapping in parts; Assembling simple mechanical assembly of common household equipments; Making a tray out of metal sheet using sheet metal work.<\/li>\n<li>Soldering and testing simple electronic circuits; Assembling and testing simple electronic components on PCB.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Group &#8211; a (Civil and Electrical)<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n  <strong>Part I Civil Engineering Practices 15<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Plumbing Work:<\/i>\n  <\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Connecting various basic pipe fittings like valves, taps, coupling, unions, reducers, elbows and other components which are commonly used in household.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing plumbing line sketches.<\/li>\n<li>Laying pipe connection to the suction side of a pump<\/li>\n<li>Laying pipe connection to the delivery side of a pump.<\/li>\n<li>Connecting pipes of different materials: Metal, plastic and flexible pipes used in household appliances.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Wood Work:<\/i>\n  <\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Sawing,<\/li>\n<li>Planning and<\/li>\n<li>Making joints like T-Joint, Mortise joint and Tenon joint and Dovetail joint.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Wood Work Study:<\/i>\n  <\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Studying joints in door panels and wooden furniture<\/li>\n<li>Studying common industrial trusses using models.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  <strong>Part II Electrical Engineering Practices 15<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Wiring Work:<\/i>\n  <\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Wiring Switches, Fuse, Indicator and Lamp etc. such as in basic household,<\/li>\n<li>Wiring Stair case light.<\/li>\n<li>Wiring tube &#8211; light.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing wiring diagrams for a given situation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Wiring Study:<\/i>\n  <\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Studying an Iron-Box wiring.<\/li>\n<li>Studying a Fan Regulator wiring.<\/li>\n<li>Studying an Emergency Lamp wiring.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Group &#8211;
