The detailed syllabus of flight training laboratory is as follows. <\/p>\n<p>  <title>Flight Training Laboratory<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>Course Objective:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>To make students learn the steps involved in CG determination.<\/li>\n<li>To introduce the methods of calibrating various flight instruments.<\/li>\n<li>To impart practical knowledge to students on determining various performance parameters.<\/li>\n<li>To find the neutral points and maneuver points in an aircraft.<\/li>\n<li>To impart practical knowledge to students about different modes of stability such as Dutch roll, phugoid motion etc.<\/li>\n<li>The experiments will be conducted by the students during the flight training programme at IIT- Kanpur and evaluation is also done by the faculty of IIT-Kanpur.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>List of Experiments:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>C.G. determination<\/li>\n<li>Calibration of ASI and Altimeter<\/li>\n<li>Calibration of special instruments<\/li>\n<li>Cruise and climb performance<\/li>\n<li>Determination of stick fixed and stick free neutral points<\/li>\n<li>Determination of stick fixed and stick free maneuver points<\/li>\n<li>Verification of Lateral-directional equations of motion for a steady state side slip maneuver<\/li>\n<li>Verification of Lateral-directional equations of motion for a steady state coordinated turn 9.
