The detailed syllabus of analog signal processing laboratory is as follows. <\/p>\n<p>  <title>Analog Signal Processing Laboratory<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>Course Objective:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ul>\n<li>To facilitate the students to study the characteristics of various semiconductor devices.<\/li>\n<li>To provide practical knowledge on the analysis of rectifiers, regulators, amplifiers and oscillators.<\/li>\n<li>To enable the students to design rectifiers, regulators, amplifiers and oscillators for a given set of specifications.<\/li>\n<li>To impart hands-on training to the students on e-CAD tools used for designing electronic circuits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>List of Experiments:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Study of CRO, DSO, Function Generator, Power Supply and Multi-meter<\/li>\n<li>PN junction diode characteristics and application as a rectifier.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of characteristics of BJT amplifier in CE configuration and determination of h-parameters.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of characteristics of JFET amplifier in CS configuration and determination ofamplification factor.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of characteristics of UJT and application as a relaxation oscillator.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of characteristics of SCR and application as a controlled rectifier.<\/li>\n<li>Design and verification of Voltage divider bias for BJT and FET circuits for a given operating point.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of the Frequency response of CE and CS amplifiers.<\/li>\n<li>Design and verification of cascaded CE amplifier.<\/li>\n<li>Design and verification of Wien Bridge oscillator and Colpitts oscillator circuits.<\/li>\n<li>Design and verification of series and shunt voltage regulators.<\/li>\n<li>Simulation of at least four of the above experiments using e-CAD tools.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Course Outcome:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Ability to identify with the physical construction, working and operational characteristics of Semiconductor devices like Diode, BJT, FET, SCR and UJT.<\/li>\n<li>An ability to design for various application circuits with basic semiconductor devices, measuring instruments and power supplies.<\/li>\n<li>An ability to construct, analyze and troubleshoot the designed circuits.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret the results of analysis and depict the significant conclusions.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Design and test the various application circuits by using appropriate software tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to present the results in written and oral forms.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as a member in a group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\">For detailed syllabus of all other subjects of Electronics &amp;
