Packed bed reactor, airlift reactor, fluidized bed reactor and bubble column reactor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT II : BIOREACTOR SCALE \u2013 UP \u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0[8 Hours]<br \/>\nRegime analysis of bioreactor processes, oxygen mass transfer in bioreactors \u2013<br \/>\nmicrobial oxygen demands; methods for the determination of mass transfer coefficients; mass transfer correlations. Scale up criteria for bioreactors based on oxygen transfer, power consumption and impeller tip speed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT III : BIOREACTOR CONSIDERATION IN ENZYME SYSTEMS<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0[8 Hours]<br \/>\nAnalysis of film and pore diffusion effects on kinetics of immobilized enzyme reactions; formulation of dimensionless groups and calculation of effectiveness factors.
