This gives the details about credits, number of hours and other details along with reference books for the course.<\/p>\n<p>The detailed syllabus for Industrial Biotechnology B.Tech 2016-2017 (R13) thirdsem is as follows<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make the students aware of the overall industrial bioprocess so as to help them to manipulate the process to the requirement of the industrial needs.<\/p>\n<p>The course prepares the students for the bulk production of commercially important modern Bioproducts, Industrial Enzymes, Products of plant and animal cell cultures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT I : INTRODUCTION TO INDUSTRIAL BIOPROCESS<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0 [10 Hours]<br \/>\nFermentation &#8211; Bacterial, Fungal and Yeast, Biochemistry of fermentation. Traditional and Modern Biotechnology &#8211; A brief survey of organisms, processes, products.
