This gives the details about credits, number of hours and other details along with reference books for the course.<\/p>\n<p>The detailed syllabus for Linear Integrated Circuits and Applications B.Tech (R13) thirdsem is as follows<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To study the IC fabrication procedure.<\/li>\n<li>To study characteristics; realize circuits; design for signal analysis using Op-amp ICs.<\/li>\n<li>To study the applications of Op-amp.<\/li>\n<li>To study internal functional blocks and the applications of special ICs like Timers, PLL<\/li>\n<li>circuits, regulator Circuits, ADCs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>UNIT I : IC FABRICATION \u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0[9 hours]<br \/>\nIC classification, fundamental of monolithic IC technology, epitaxial growth, masking and etching,\u00a0diffusion of impurities. Realisation of monolithic ICs and packaging.
