Towing \u2013 Beaching \u2013 Preparation of diagram combustible and non-combustible &#8211; re usable materials and components, recovering metals, which are mixed with non-metal \u2013 metal cutting and scraping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT II : SHIP BREAKING SAFE PRACTICES<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0[9 hours]<br \/>\nObjective \u2013 definition of enclosed space \u2013 assessment of risk \u2013 authorisation \u2013 authorisation of entry \u2013 precautions \u2013 testing of atmosphere known unsafe space \u2013 additional precautions \u2013 hazardous cargo \u2013 fumigation \u2013 example of an enclosed space entry permit \u2013 potentially hazardous materials \u2013 hazardous wastes and substances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT III : SHIP RECYCLING DOWNSTREAM \u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0[9 hours]<br \/>\nDefine recyclable \u2013recycled content, recycling plan, pollution prevention procedure for existing ships \u2013 Green passport \u2013 minimising reducing waste generation, for new ships \u2013 minimising hazardous substance, designing recyclable ships \u2013 minimising waste generation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=ini.istudy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Download iStudy\u00a0Android\u00a0App for complete Anna University syllabus, results, timetables and all other updates.
