Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2020 conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. You must know about TANCET 2020 Eligibility, Registration and Important Dates in detail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TANCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria, Registration and Important Dates for the Students who seek admission to M.B.A., M.C.A. and M.E. \/ M.Tech. \/ M.Arch. \/ M.Plan. for the academic year 2020-2021 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TANCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

MBA :Student should pass in bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50%
MCA :Student should pass in bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50%
MCA Lateral Entry :Student should pass in recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in B.C.A or B.Sc (Computer Science \/ Information Technology) and obtained at least 50%

M.E \/ M.Tech \/ M.Arch \/ M.Plan :Student should pass in recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained atleast 50% in the qualifying degree examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:
1. Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible except, B.E.\/B.Tech. and M.C.A degree courses.
2. Candidates with B.E.\/B.Tech. Degree obtained through Distance \/ Weekend mode Programmes are not eligible.
3. Candidates with Degree obtained without studying 10th Std., 12th Std. or 3 years Diploma and 3\/4\/5 years degree programme are not eligible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GATE Categories for M.E. \/ M.Tech. \/ M.Arch. \/ M.Plan.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Students who apply for admission to full time M.E. \/ M.Tech. \/ M.Arch. \/ M.Plan. degree programmes in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Planning will be grouped as given below.
1. Candidates who have a valid GATE 2018, GATE 2019 and GATE 2020 score with qualifying marks for assistantship in the appropriate discipline of Engineering \/ Technology
2. Candidates who have a valid GATE 2018, GATE 2019 and GATE 2020 score with qualifying marks for assistantship in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) papers should appear for TANCET 2020 also. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TANCET 2020 Registration for Entrance Test<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Candidates can register through online only by filling-up the application and submitting the same along with a good quality recently taken photograph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TANCET 2020 Registration Process <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  1. Click the ‘Registration’ link in the menu bar.<\/li>
  2. Click the ‘Register’ link<\/li>
  3. Provide the required information and press ‘Next’ button.<\/li>
  4. Now you receive a TANCET secret key in your mobile, which you have to retain till you successfully complete the application process.<\/li>
  5. Now login using the credentials, and provide other required details.<\/li>
  6. At the end, you will asked to confirm the details. Kindly verify the details and confirm.<\/li>
  7. Now it takes you to payment page. Do the payment online. However, those who claim fee concession under SC\/ST\/SCA categories should upload the community certificate before moving to payment page.<\/li>
  8. On successful completion of payment, click ‘Status Check’ link in the menu bar.<\/li>
  9. Application status can be viewed there.<\/li>
  10. Now, click ‘Print Application’ button, which generates a copy of the application in pdf format.<\/li>
  11. Take printout of the generated application for your reference only, and not submit this copy to the Centre.<\/li>
  12. Now the process of registration is successfully completed.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
