MACHINES AND GENERATORS<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0 [8+3 hours]<br \/>\nPrinciples of DC machines \u2013 construction \u2013 winding and e.m.f equations \u2013 armature reaction \u2013 commutation \u2013 brush shift \u2013 compensating winding \u2013 D.C. generator \u2013 their characteristics-methods of excitation \u2013 parallel operation \u2013 performance equations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT II : D.C. MOTORS<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0[8+3 hours]<br \/>\nD.C.
