This gives the details about credits, number of hours and other details along with reference books for the course.<\/p>\n<p>The detailed syllabus for Aircraft Structures &#8211; I B.Tech (R13) fourthsem is as follows<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide the students an understanding on the linear static analysis of determinate and\u00a0indeterminate aircraft structural components.<\/li>\n<li>To provide the design process using different failure theories.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>UNIT I : STATICALLY DETERMINATE &amp; INDETERMINATE STRUCTURES \u00a0<\/strong> [9 hours]<br \/>\nPlane truss analysis \u2013 method of joints \u2013 method of sections \u2013 method of shear \u2013 3-D trusses \u2013\u00a0principle of super position, clapeyron\u2019s 3 moment equation and moment distribution method for\u00a0indeterminate beams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIT II : ENERUNIT II ENERGY METHODS<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0[10 hours]<br \/>\nStrain Energy in axial, bending, torsion and shear loadings. Castigliano\u2019s theorems and their\u00a0applications.
