The detailed syllabus for Project work B.Tech (R13) eighthsem is as follows<\/p>\n
OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n The focus on project work is to enable the students to work individually or as a group of\u00a0not more than four members on a project involving comprehension of their skills either on\u00a0experimental or application studies related to Geoinformatics implementation.\u00a0The group project may be on (i) one problem and segments of results or (ii) one problem\u00a0solution (methodology) and different applications. If more than one student is involved, the\u00a0project shall be divided into part I, Part II etc, and each student has to concentrate in one\u00a0of the parts.\u00a0Every project work shall have a guide who is a member of the faculty of the University.\u00a0Twelve periods per week shall be allotted in the Time Table and the time shall be utilized\u00a0by the students to receive directions from the guide, library reading, laboratory work,\u00a0computer analysis or field work and to present the progress made in the project. The\u00a0student shall maintain a weekly progress chart and attach the same in the report along\u00a0with the signature of the guide.\u00a0Each student shall finally produce a comprehensive report covering background\u00a0information, literature survey, problem statement, methodology, project work details,\u00a0results and conclusions. This final report shall be typewritten form as specified in the\u00a0guidelines. The report shall follow the guidelines for format, structure, text size, number of\u00a0pages and other style manual standards prescribed by the University. Evaluation shall be\u00a0done as prescribed in the Regulation.<\/p>\n
