I am a college teacher for more then 20 years in Bangladesh. I am interested to do PhD in commerce from Indian (UGC recognized) University as a part-time external candidate of under developed country. I have 52% marks in PG degree.
How I can gate your help from admission (direct) to completion the PhD degree?

Zahid vaai,
I am from Instrumentaion Dept.(IN)..I appeared for GATE 2014…and I am expecting marks of around 36-37…Since, this time most of the questions(almost 35-40 qs) were numerical type(wth no options), it was tym consuming, and the paper appeared to be tough…so, I would lyk you to comment on the folllowing queries:

1.Do u have any information on the ovrall all india performnce in GATE IN 2014?

2. Is there a possibilty of gettng higher score than previous year for a particular marks? And any idea regarding my AIR?

3. many institutes (for eg. IISc)..they set their gate cutoff SCORES(and not RANK) for admission to their MSc/Phd programmes. So,suppose, if my RANK goes lower (AIR 300-400) but scores come above IISc’s cutoff scores, will there be any problem in getting a call from IISc?
