After writing posts like which is the best engineering course and Engineering courses prospect and future, I was asked by many parents to write about good engineering course for girls.
If you look at my series of posts on Engineering courses prospects and future, I clearly mentioned the scope of every engineering course with core companies and also stated the every engineering filed have good opportunities provided you work hard and be sincere. Apart from this I would like to recommend that the courses for the girls can be in the below priority.
- Computer Science and IT
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Biotech or Bioengineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
All the above courses have both teaching, lab experiments and job are within the building and you don’t need to go out for educational reasons. Whereas other engineering course like Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering, even if you get a in-house job, for you course work one need to work outside without thinking about weather and environment.
For the above said courses you get ample and well paid opportunities in teaching as well as research and Industry, which usually girls prefer.
