Well about placements in core companies we dont beg for companies like your college
we have cap of 30k salary any company less than that is not allowed unless its core . So get life and good score to get in good college .. never crib which you are doing now

I think most colleges in Bangalore enjoy higher preference and hence ratings owing to the reputation of the City. Some of the colleges in Top 10 have pretty mediocre teaching faculty to say the least. I believe that NIE Mysore, SJCE Mysore and GIT Belgaum are leagues ahead of some of the other colleges in the list.

@aman: rnsit is also a college. i do agree with u that sir mvit and dayanand sagar should be in the top ten, but there is no way that sit tumkur is not comparable to the two. Sit tumkur is in the very same league.
