After writing post for Top Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu, it was really easy to make out the best colleges in Channai. During the ranking of Tamil Nadul Engineering colleges those are affiliated to Anna University I found there are really top colleges in Coimbatore too, and the best colleges are spread all over the state. One the other hand, top colleges in other states are centered around the capital of that state.
Similar to earlier ranking procedure, I considered the last ranks admitted to Electronics (ECE) and Computer Engineering (CSE), In case of tie I also considered Electrical and Mechanical Engineering ranks too. Usually trends remain same and every college is giving their best to retain their position and grow higher.

Rathnashikamani: Sorry I was confused about the location of SSN. I thought it was Kanchipuram, thats why did not added it to Chennai colleges. I didnt do it deliberately it was just a confusion of its location. Otherwise, you would have checked the list of top engineering colleges in tamilnadu, there I gave that a proper rank. Now I changed its location and modified Top Engineering colleges in Channai too.
