Eligibility : M Tech Programmes
The applicant must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering/AMIE in appropriate discipline or a Master degree in appropriate discipline with CGPI of 6.75 on 10-point scale or equivalent or 60% marks in aggregate wherever marks are awarded.
The admission to MTech programme will be based on the valid GATE score of the qualified candidates in appropriate discipline/branch. In the event of seats remaining vacant, non-GATE candidates may also be considered who shall also be ranked according to their performance in qualifying examination.

Last date for submitting completed Application forms: 29.05.2009 (5.00 PM)

Vinay: All NITs consider Non-Gate students only in case where GATE students are not available to fill the seats. Usually NITs get only GATE qualified students.

I am belong to Gen category and I am standing at 104th position in the list yet there wer OBC SC ST list.
