After a careful survey and study I made a list of private engineering colleges and state universities that offer M.Tech or MS in Delhi. As AICTE is strict in giving permission to run Masters in Engineering program, these colleges can also be considered as top engineering colleges in Delhi.
For Admission into these colleges in M.Tech, please search for the contact details and call them directly. Please do not hesitate to call them for admission information. Mostly they give an ad in local news papers for admissions to M.Tech program.
You may find Delhi (state) universities added to list as they also admit student on their own test or interview, definitely they give preference to gate qualified candidates. But mostly non gate students will also get chance in these universities.
This list may not be fully updated if you find any changes please let me know by which list can be more comprehensive and useful to many like us.

i have completed my BE in IT in 2007. i did my Mtech in system management in 2010 from school of future studies and planning DAVV indore. presently its is course under the faculty of management studies. but at tine of my admission in 2008 this course was consider in faculty of engineering and science. problem is that i will plan for PnD in IT stream but now this is course under management studies so in what way i am eligible for PhD in engineering stream (IT). am i eligible for teaching in engineering IT dept this course ailed part with IT.

It’s very nice of u to assist the students for their requisite queries pertaining to their career.at the very outset,I would like to tell u something about me.I am Raees,completed my Engg. in Mech. stream from M.B.M.Engg. college(Rajasthan) this very year 2010.my main hurdle is that I had taken GATE paper with general category & my Gate score came out to be 24.33,AIR-4241,GATE score-421,which felt short by 0.67 to clear the cut-off.now i have got made my OBC recently & cleared the cut-off in OBC.So my query is can i get an admission for M.tech in any college with valid Gate score which the institute can consider to be valid as per OBC category.reply me soon……..

I am M.Tech(information Systems) pass-out student from NSIT, New Delhi. I found certain mistakes over this page regarding NSIT and its M.Tech. courses. I request you to please correct certain information regarding Netaji Shubhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), New Delhi given over this page. The information can be cross verified from its official website http://www.nsit.ac.in
In the institute field the correct address of NSIT is as follows:

Here main corrections are: Shubhas at the place of Subhash.
110 078 at the place of 110 045.
NSIT is presently running three specialized M.Tech. courses under Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi, Delhi, since the inception of M.Tech. courses at the this institute (NSIT). The courses offered are different than as mentioned above and include only:
Information Systems (Under Computer Engineering Division)
Signal Processing (Under Electronics & Comm. Engg. Division)
Process Control (Under Instrumentation & Control Division)
As for as being an ex-student of NSIT, I know,the courses you have mentioned above (and many other not included in the list) under NSIT have been approved by AICTE, but till date NSIT has not started running these M.Tech courses. So, in my view it is not worth to mention these courses until NSIT starts running and admitting in these additional courses.
