sir plz tell me how to get admissions in m.tech without GATE in good colleges like iiit, nit etc.I would like to know when do the IITs conduct their separate tests for M.Tech admissions. Do they notify about these tests in any newspapers and websites or do we have to inquire for ourselves? Please help

Seriously, if I can clear these individual tests of IIITs and central univ for M. Tech Course, I probably can also clear GATE exam. I think some or all students of engg will agree. So, does it mean if I can’t clear GATE then, I should not think of doing M. Tech from an IIT, central univ, etc.

Admissions are open in many universities, however, I would advise you to look for programs which are good in demand in the job market and have good scope too. Some of these programs are like built environment, structural engineering, Robotics, artificial intelligence etc. You can look for these programs in UPES – http://www.upes.ac.in
