@vinod : abt nanotech
nanotechnology is the next to microtechnology. microtechnology itself is not having good scopes in india. but it s growing. only few iits and very few other colleges do hav this branch . and nanotechnology may make it difficult to get u placed in any company, when it comes to placement. and for a cs background student it may not be suitable. but it s a branch of very bright future.

@priya : about instrumentation

see, m.tech in instrumentation has many sub branches. they are sensor technology, biomedical engineering, instrumentation and control and control engineering. of all these sensor tech and biomedical are the core branches of actual instrumentation tech. instrumentation and control is more generalized in many colleges. but sensor tech is not well established in india.
