Indian Institute of Technologys (IITs) are Nation’s premier technical universities and getting admission to anyone of them is pride for many student and dream of their parents. Usually IITs advertise their admission notices immediately after GATE results are announced and students may miss them because of confusions or lack of information. I also added IISc to the list. IISc Bangalore usually release M.Tech admission notification before the GATE results and application deadline closes immediately after GATE results. I was completed B.Tech in 2008 and joined TCS. After 1.5 yrs I was selected as a JTO in BSNL and presently working in BSNL. I left TCS and presently thinking to leave BSNL because I didnt find the work interesting as it is simply a routine O&M job. I am thinking to pursue M.Tech and in GATE 2011 I got AIR 1409(98.98%ile) and score of 640 from ECE branch. Kindly suggest me the next action plan like what to do from now and where to target. Is there any chance to get into some good NITs.

However Application forms and Information Brochure can be downloaded from institutes website http://www.iitr.ernet.in from March 21, 2011. Hii Zahid, I wanted to know the difference between M.E and M.Tech course offered by IISc Bangalore. I came to know from your post that there is a written test for M.Tech course on 18th April,2011, but there is no test for M.E. course and selection is purely on GATE score.
