GATE Syllabus: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination that will be conducted in February 2025 by IIT Roorkee. The GATE is a national examination on the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture.

jointly by the IISc Bangalore and seven other IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB). GATE Syllabus 2025 gives a detailed syllabus.

Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture.

Changes in GATE Syllabus 2025 give various options in the selection of subjects with two new subjects introduced this year that benefit most of the students moreover, 3rd-year students can also apply for GATE 2025. As GATE score is valid for 3 Years from the date of the result announcement.

For the 2-mark MCQ, the 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
NO negative marking for MSQ & NAT.
