This may be a good news for many students that NIT Rourkela will be joining the Common admission processes for M.Tech conducted by NIT Trichy.
Last year (2009) at the last instance three NITs NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy and NIT Calicut joined together for a combined admission for M.Tech program.
A common counseling was conducted at NIT Tiruchirapalli for final admissions. As there was lots of confusion and admission process was little delayed too.
This year (2010) NIT Rourkela will join with NITW, NITT, and NITC. So there will more seat and more organized efforts for make admission process clear. please visit official link for more details. NIT Raurkela M.Tech admissions 2010

I hope there can be more NITs joining this process. I will try to update this page once any other NIT join the admission process.
We need to wait for NIT Trichy to announce the notice for further details.
